“My name is Michael, I am 40 years old and I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I was the “husky” kid in school, and grew into the “big guy” in adulthood. I hated being overweight, tried various diets and would lose some weight, but gained it all back and then some. After the birth of my two boys, I started getting scared that my weight would cut my time short with them as I have a history of heart attacks in my family. I also wanted to set a good example for them, so they wouldn’t fall into the obesity trap I had struggled with for so long.”
“I have been training with Ryan for a little over 2 years now, and I am in the best shape of my life because of it. Prior to meeting Ryan, I had done pretty well for about a year doing some cardio work at home on my own. I dabbled with some weight lifting, but I didn’t really know what I was doing. I only had 1 or 2 lifting routines and they were getting real boring. I hadn’t been losing any more weight doing my cardio, and I was struggling to keep the weight off I had lost. I started getting frustrated, and probably would have quit altogether if a good friend of mine hadn’t introduced me to Ryan.”
“Ryan is the perfect trainer for me. He always challenges me to be better than I was last time, to do that one extra rep that I was sure I couldn’t do. There have been many times when Ryan would show me a new move that I was certain I couldn’t do, but he puts the challenge in front of me and I’ve always been able to meet it. That kind of reinforcement is priceless. I never would have tried 90% of the exercises I do regularly if I wasn’t training with Ryan.”
